[Should Lyney open the door sometime today, he'll happen to see a mysterious looking clockwork penguin in a box. Given that his birthday was coming soon, he figured that he should get him something. Not only that, with the discovery of the fire crystals, he figured he should make something that would impress his older brother.
Nevermind that there was an odd smell that strangely resembled of smoke.
When Lyney opens it, he'll see a penguin that looked a lot like Pers except that it happened to have a book and a pair of glasses. There was also a note that read this:
"Happy Birthday, Lyney. I hope you'll enjoy your new companion, Elynas. He is a local writer in Penguin Town whose lovely tales he writes and tells the children brings out joys and smiles to everyone around him."
